High Quality Coffee, Simplified!
You don’t have to be a coffee connoisseur to expect and appreciate a great cup of coffee. You choose the roast profile you prefer (light, medium or dark), and we will find a bean in season that best suits that profile. All roast profiles will include only single origin beans from fair trade sustainable farms. Light and medium roast beans will always be from Africa and dark roasted beans will be from either the Africa, Central or South America. Regardless of their origin, the beans are roasted in small batches accentuating their natural flavors.
With Roasted 314, we source only the highest quality beans and roast them to the bean’s recommended specifications resulting in an amazing cup of coffee for you to enjoy to fuel your day.
The Back Story
“I was introduced to high quality freshly-roasted coffee through running. While training for marathons, my friends and I would meet at local coffee shops in Lawrence, Kansas, run whatever distance was required that day, and then enjoy a nice cup of coffee and wonderful conversation. This time was cherished and sacred.
As the years passed, the running distances became shorter, and our coffee time became longer. It wasn’t just about running and coffee but the relationships that formed.
After relocating to St. Louis (area code 314), I purchased a small coffee roaster and began roasting beans for personal use. Once I began sharing with friends, I was reminded of the joy that sharing coffee could bring. Coffee serves as a reminder to slow down, savor the moment and create meaningful connections.
I rediscovered my passion for coffee shared with friends, and Roasted 314 was born!”
